Fig. 1A. —Blood flow volume measurement of internal carotid artery by different techniques in 58-year-old man who recently had minor stroke. Spectral Doppler imaging quantification shows proximal segment of internal carotid artery (ICA). Angle-corrected mean velocity (48.9 cm/sec) and perpendicular vessel diameter (0.43 cm) at site of interrogation were used in calculation of blood flow volume. Obtained value was 426.1 mL/min.
