Second longer line segment (SS) is drawn tangentially to ventral or costal
surface of scapular body and bisects glenoid line segment G. Distance between
this line, extended through humeral head, and center of humeral head (x)
represents humeral translation distance. If center of humeral head is
posterior to line segment SS, distance (in millimeters) is recorded as
negative value and if anterior, as positive value.
