Axial fast spin-echo proton density-weighted MR image (4200/49.6) with fat saturation shows extensive femoral bone marrow edema (curved arrow). Presence of subchondral cysts suggests that this is unstable lesion. Loose body (straight arrow) is identified adjacent to posteromedial femoral condyle. Joint effusion is present.
