In both proximal and distal femoral epiphyses, marked enhancement is observed in physis (white arrow) and in band (black arrow) in juxtaphyseal metaphysis corresponding anatomically to metaphyseal spongiosa. Enhancement of vascular canals (arrowhead) within epiphyseal cartilage is less marked.
