He had undergone hepaticojejunostomy due to biliary stricture after left hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma. Oblique sonogram obtained 3 days after radiofrequency ablation shows massive hyperechogenicity (arrows) representing air in ablation zone. Patient presented to emergency department with high fever (40°C) and abdominal pain.
