The phantom was composed of nine cylinders made of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer with a 0.5-, 0.8-, or 1.0-mm-thick wall and was filled with contrast medium of three dilutions. Nine cylinders were fixed in a columnar styrene container that was filled with salad oil. The cylinders were placed parallel to the central axis of the styrene container. The styrene container was fixed in a water-filled columnar polyethylene container with the central axes overlapping.
