Axial spin-echo T1-weighted image without intraarticular contrast material (TR/TE, 650/15; field of view, 19 cm) shows normal anterior labrum having typical low-signal-intensity triangular appearance (arrowhead). Low-signal-intensity structure just anterior to anterior labrum represents normal iliopsoas tendon (arrow) and should not be misinterpreted as tear of labrum.
