Unenhanced (A) and delayed contrast-enhanced (B) fat-saturated turbo spin-echo T1-weighted images show hypointense nodule that shows peripheral and heterogeneous internal enhancement after IV contrast administration, related to presence of central scar, in cavernous hemangioma. Biopsy was not necessary as this patient had multiple hemangiomas in spleen, liver, and neck (not shown).
