Her clinical complaint was classic triad of mesenteric ischemia. Thin-slab maximum-intensity-projection MDCT angiograms before (A) and after (B) surgery show that aortic endarterectomy was performed at distal thoracic aorta and celiac trunk (arrowhead) as well as at origin of superior mesenteric artery and paravisceral abdominal aorta through a thoracoretroperitoneal approach. Note widely patent postoperative lumen.
