Axial CT image in patient with acute abdominal pain shows multiple loops of moderately thickened (6 mm) small bowel (arrows). Determining whether enhancement pattern shows target appearance is difficult due to positive intraluminal contrast material. However, subtle increase is seen in attenuation of serosal layer of small bowel.
