Each exponential curve shows relationship between phantom size and SD value at given tube current. Radiation dose (CTDIvol) in parentheses increases linearly with tube current; however, data are scanner-specific (Aquilion 64, Toshiba Medical Systems) and other scanners may produce different radiation doses with same parameters. Nomogram obtained using postcontrast parameters: 120 kV, helical, retrospective ECG gating, 64 x 0.5 mm collimation, pitch of 0.204, and half reconstruction.
