Coronal reconstruction image from contrast-enhanced CT shows there is lack of opacification of midportion of IVC (arrows), which is consistent with occlusion by thrombus. Extensive retroperitoneal collaterals are seen bypassing occluded segment (arrowheads). There is stent in suprarenal portion of IVC.
