Effacement of normal high signal of subcutaneous fatty tissue and skin thickening caused by collagen infiltration show hypointense signal (arrow) on T1-weighted unenhanced spin-echo (TR/TE, 561/12) image. There is no relevant binding down of skin over involved forearm in this patient with short history of morphea.
