Fig. 2B —68-year-old man with acute myocardial infarction. This case shows importance of comprehensive evaluation in cardiac CT. Short-axis image during diastole in arterial phase shows decreased perfusion over infralateral wall (between arrows) involving posterior papillary muscles (black arrowhead). Compare density of anterior (white arrowhead) and posterior (black arrowhead) papillary muscle.
