ARTERIAL CALCIFICATION IN ADULT CRETINS

A roentgenographic search for arterial calcification was carried out on 14 adult cretins. There is strong suggestion of a causal relationship between untreated cretinism in adults and extensive arterial calcification on the basis of arteriosclerosis.
