ROENTGEN MANIFESTATIONS OF GIARDIASIS

The roentgen findings in giardiasis are presented. They include thickening of the mucosal folds, increased secretions and, on fluoroscopy, marked spasm and irritability. The roentgen alterations are most commonly noted in the duodenum and jejunum. The changes are characteristic of an inflammatory process and confirm the recent observations noted on biopsy.
