Three additional cases of parosteal osteosarcoma are reported, the details of these cases characterizing the outstanding features of this uncommon, slowly metastasizing, and often curable sarcoma. The tumor should be correctly diagnosed by its roentgenologic appearance at the time of initial examination and histologic confirmation of malignancy obtained. A decrease in the reported 25 per cent mortality of this neoplasm can be anticipated with application of proper surgical therapy, usually amputation.
