SPONDYLOTHORACIC DYSPLASIA—A SYNDROME OF CONGENITAL ANOMALIES

JOHN E. MOSELEY M.D.1 and RICHARD J. BONFORTE M.D.1

1 From the Departments of Radiology and Pediatrics, The Mount Sinai Hospital and School of Medicine, New York, New York

Two additional cases of a newly described syndrome of skeletal anomalies are reported and the roentgen features of the syndrome are reviewed.

As the osseous abnormalities are developmental defects and are limited to the spine and thorax, it is suggested that the syndrome be referred to as spondylothoracic dysplasia.
