INTRAMURAL HEMATOMA OF THE SIGMOID

A rare case of an intramural hematoma of the sigmoid complicated by intussusception is presented.

The entire series of 12 reported cases is briefly reviewed.

The etiology, clinical manifestations and, particularly, the roentgen findings are discussed.
