1. A fourth ventricle tumor which balloons the fourth ventricle may be diagnosed angiographically, provided that the posterior fossa vessels are well opacified on both sides.
2. The anatomy of various segments of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery, of importance in making this diagnosis, is described in detail.
3. The angiographic features of fourth ventricle tumors which are related to ballooning of the fourth ventricle are also described.
