Angiography in a case of chronic granulomatous disease of childhood showed hepatic enlargement and extensive hypervascularity with prominent and displaced hepatic arteries. There were enlarged small hepatic branches and staining during the sinusoidal phase.
Were it not for the characteristic clinical history, the angiogram could be confused with malignant tumor within the liver. The differences and similarities between this case and other reported inflammatory lesions are discussed.
