ROENTGENOGRAPHIC MANIFESTATIONS OF LYMPHANGIECTASIS

REPORT OF A CASE

WILFRID M. GILL JR. M.D.1 and RALPH J. ALFIDI M.D.

1 Formerly, Fellow, Department of Radiology, Cleveland Clinic. Lakewood Hospital, Lakewood, Ohio.

The roentgenographic findings in a case of generalized lymphangiectasis are reported.

The complete absence of lymph nodes and the lymph nodes in the stage of cyst transformation give evidence to the theory that lymphangiectasis is a developmental condition.

The lack of confinement of this condition to the abdomen establishes the generalized nature of the disease.
