ARTERIAL SUPPLY TO THE LUNG VIA THE CELIAC AXIS

ORLANDO F. GABRIELE M.D.

Systemic arterial supply to the lung is discussed.

Two cases are reported illustrating arterial supply from the celiac axis in one case to the right lower lobe with an associated "scimitar" syndrome, and another case of celiac arterial supply to a left lower lobe sequestration.

The variations in systemic supply and venous return with sequestration of the lung are also briefly discussed.
