1 Professor and Chairman, Department of Radiology.
Twenty-four patients with prolapse of gastric mucosa through a gastrojejunostomy stoma following a partial gastrectomy were studied.
The roentgenographic appearance is quite characteristic.
Although many of these patients are asymptomatic, prolapse of the gastric mucosa may be a cause of stomal obstruction or gastrointestinal bleeding.
