The problems of beam size and shutter control during fluoroscopy and spot roentgenography using small (5-6 inch) image intensifiers are discussed.
Collimation of the beam should be accomplished between the x-ray tube assembly and the patient.
Some suggestions are given as to controlling the beam size during fluoroscopy.
