PRIMARY INTRAVENTRICULAR MENINGIOMAS OF THE FOURTH VENTRICLE

Two cases of meningiomas lying completely within the fourth ventricle are reported.

Review of the world literature provided an additional 5 cases of meningioma totally within the fourth ventricle.

The possibility that intraventricular meningiomas of the fourth ventricle may show tumor stain on vertebral angiography is suggested.
