Two cases of isolated calcified diaphragmatic pleural plaques with no other evidence of pleural or pulmonary disease occurring 19 to 22 years, respectively, after a relatively short occupational exposure to asbestos are reported
When diaphragmatic pleural calcifications are found roentgenographically, exposure to asbestos dust must be considered until proven otherwise.
