THE AORTIC-PULMONARY MEDIASTINAL STRIPE

THEODORE E. KEATS M.D.

The aortic-pulmonary stripe is the shadow of the mediastinal pleura reflected across the aortic arch and pulmonary artery.

It may be seen as a triangular density in normal individuals and should not be mistaken as a manifestation of a pathologic process.
