ILLUSTRATION OF ISODOSE CURVES WITH THE APPLICATION OF THE SABATTIER EFFECT

FRANCISCO ALANÍZ-CAMINO M.D. and DAVID ESPEJO B.S.

We were interested, during the construction and dosimetry of a cervico-uterine applicator, in the graphic form of the distribution of radiation on several planes around the applicator itself.

The method used to visualize this distribution was carried out with the very useful photographic phenomenon of solarization, better known as the Sabattier effect.
