APPLICATIONS OF THE ELECTRON BEAM IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE LYMPHATICS OF THE NECK IN HEAD AND NECK CANCERS

The electron beam, with energies of 6 to 12 mev., is useful for irradiation of portions of the neck or of the whole neck for a wide variety of clinical situations.

In many of these situations it provides an easy and elegant way to deliver irradiation with minimal dosage to the deeper structures.
