DIFFUSE CYSTIC ANGIOMATOSIS OF BONE

REPORT OF TWO CASES

ANNE C. BROWER M.D., JAMES E. CULVER JR. M.D., and THEODORE E. KEATS M.D.

Two patients with diffuse cystic angiomatosis of the skeleton are reported.

The difficulties encountered in making this diagnosis are discussed.

Despite the rarity of the disease, cystic angiomatosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a patient presenting with diffuse cystic lesions of his skeleton on roentgenographic examination, with minimal or no associated clinical or laboratory findings.
