LUMBAR SPINAL PUNCTURE FOR NEURORADIOLOGY PROCEDURES

The author’s successful method for placement of a needle in the lumbar subarachnoid space is described.

Details are given relative to anesthesia, midline position by patient cooperation, lack of dural pop, and placement of the needle tip wholly in the subarachnoid space.
