The techniques used for 4 limb angiography in 10 patients with chronic renal failure on long term hemodialysis are described.
It is suggested that to show the arteries of the upper and lower limbs bilateral axillary and femoral artery cannulation should be used. In the arms follow-through to the venous phase is usually adequate to show the veins but in the legs, because of hemodilution, separate bilateral ascending phlebograms are required.
