PRUNE BELLY SYNDROME

AN UNUSUAL CAUSE OF NEONATAL ABDOMINAL CALCIFICATION

Two cases of abdominal calcification in newborns with the prune belly syndrome are reported. These calcifications were in a urachal cyst and in the dome of the bladder.

A differential diagnosis of neonatal abdominal calcification is presented.
