OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to evaluate pulse-spray
pharmacomechanical thrombolysis with the use of tissue plasminogen activator
in the recanalization of thrombosed hemodialysis access grafts.
CONCLUSION. Pulse-spray pharmacomechanical thrombolysis with tissue
plasminogen activator is an effective method for percutaneous recanalization
of thrombosed hemodialysis access grafts with results similar to other
percutaneous techniques.
