OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this review is to describe the role of CT in the evaluation of congenital cardiovascular disease in children. Clinical indications, imaging techniques, and illustrations of relevant conditions are presented.
CONCLUSION. CT accurately depicts many forms of congenital cardiovascular disease in children. It is particularly valuable in the assessment of extracardiac vascular anomalies and in the evaluation of postoperative complications.
