OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to use MRI and physical examination to assess the evolution of disabling musculocutaneous changes induced by chronic graft-versus-host disease in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy.

CONCLUSION. MRI monitoring appears to yield accurate information about the extent and activity of musculocutaneous abnormalities related to chronic graft-versus-host disease during immunosuppressive therapy.
