CORTICAL CALCIFICATION IN RENAL CORTICAL NECROSIS

A case of bilateral renal cortical necrosis is reported with over a 2frac12 year survival period following the acute episode. The characteristic rim of cortical calcification, detectable by roentgen examination is demonstrated. The cortical calcification is correlated with the pathologic findings in the disease process.
