Fig. 2 —Quantitative estimation of intraarticular vascularization is shown as time-intensity curve obtained after administration of contrast material. Calculation of area under curve before and after therapy was performed. Echo intensity is significantly diminished (p < 0.05) after therapy, indicating reduction in intraarticular vascularization. Gray area indicates before therapy; white area indicates after therapy.
