GoldMiner: A Radiology Image Search Engine

  		Fig. 1 —Screen shot from GoldMiner user interface shows part of results of searching for "phakomatosis." Each entry includes small image ("thumbnail") and initial part of figure caption. Imaging technique is shown beneath each image, and patient's age and sex are shown in parentheses. Each image's source (e.g., AJR), article title, and figure number are shown as well. Thumbnail images are linked to original source images, which open in new window. If user clicks on article title, original article opens in separate window.
