In the article "Vertebral Artery Doppler Waveform Changes Indicating Subclavian Steal Physiology" [1], a mistake appears in the third paragraph of the Discussion. The first sentence of that paragraph reads: "The physiologic explanation for these Doppler findings may be twofold: a decrease in pressure in which blood flow velocity abruptly increases, and a loss of energy in which 78% disturbed or turbulent flow is present..." The term "78%" does not belong there, so that the sentence should read: "The physiologic explanation for these Doppler findings may be twofold: a decrease in pressure in which blood flow velocity abruptly increases, and a loss of energy in which disturbed or turbulent flow is present..."
