Fig. 3D. —55-year-old man with cavernous hemangioma. On dynamic scanning, breath-hold two-dimensional fast field echo images obtained at 30 sec (C) and 7 min (D) after contrast injection reveal intense peripheral nodular enhancement of lesion. By 7 min after injection almost complete filling-in has occurred. Note only central portion of lesion remains hypointense (arrow, D). Enhancement pattern is typical for cavernous hemangioma.
