Normal = no abnormalities detected on the mammogram, and no additional imaging required. Abnormal = abnormality detected on the mammogram, and additional imaging required. p-normal = probability that mammographic findings are normal. p-abnormal = probability that mammographic findings are abnormal. Probability that mammographic findings are normal plus probability that they are abnormal must equal 100%.
