with false-negative findings for palpable invasive lobular carcinoma that was
prospectively interpreted as negative shows vague ill-defined hypoechoic
region posteriorly (arrows). In retrospect, this finding may relate
to carcinoma located posteriorly in breast. Color Doppler imaging showed no
blood flow.
