Each box encloses middle 50% of data points (i.e., from first quartile to third). Median is marked by horizontal line in each box. Lines extend above and below each box to most extreme data point not more than 1.5 times interquartile range from edge of box. Data points farther from box are individually marked. MIP = maximum intensity projection, MPR = multiplanar reconstruction, SSD = shaded-surface display.
