T1-weighted contrast-enhanced fat-suppressed fast multiplanar spoiled
gradient-recalled echo MR image (250/2.1; flip angle, 90°) reveals
nonenhancing tissue (small arrows) around base of ulcer extending
through interosseous space (arrowhead) to dorsum of foot (large
arrow). Local débridement on same day as
MR imaging proved presence of necrotic soft tissue in area of
nonenhancement.
