Fig. 1. Schematic drawing shows differences in work flow among
imaging departments using conventional film-screen radiography with a
conventional processor, conventional film-screen radiography with a daylight
processor, and filmless computed radiography. Number of steps is reduced to
four with filmless computed radiography because steps related to film
processing and handling can be eliminated.
