Note usefulness of gadolinium chelates to reveal additional lesions. Unenhanced T1-weighted gradient-recalled echo MR image shows lesion (2 cm in diameter) in left lobe of liver to be slightly hyperintense to surrounding liver parenchyma with hypointense central scar and hypointense pseudocapsule (arrow).
