Fig. 11 57-year-old woman who had undergone surgery and irradiation
for treatment of left-sided breast carcinoma and was doing well until about 7
months after termination of radiation therapy, when she developed weakness and
pain in left upper extremity. Coronal fat-suppressed T2-weighted image shows
diffuse thickening and increased signal intensity (arrow) in region
of left brachial plexus affecting trunks, divisions, and cords.
