An Algorithm for the Diagnosis of Focal Liver Masses Using Microbubble Contrast-Enhanced Pulse-Inversion Sonography
Am. J. Roentgenol. Wilson and Burns 186: 1401

Supplementary Figures

Figure S2
Cine loop shows arrival of microbubbles in field of view. Hemangioma is slowly perfusing and shows peripheral puddles of contrast agent without linear vascularity. Predominant enhancement of lesion is less than that of adjacent liver in arterial phase.

Figure S3
Cine loop shows arrival of microbubbles. Note tortuous feeding artery to hypervascular mass with diffuse enhancement and small central nonenhancing scar. Faint stellate vascularity is seen.

Figure S4
Cine loop taken close to peak of arterial phase enhancement shows hypervascular mass with diffuse enhancement and central necrosis. Note dysmorphic linear vessels.

Figure S5
Cine loop shows microbubble contrast agent in wash-in phase. Note central large mass with marginal vascularity and two adjacent smaller masses with similar enhancement pattern.

Figure S8
Rapidly enhancing hemangioma. Cine loop shows rapidly enhancing mass in superficial aspect of right lobe of liver. Note peripheral nodules and centripetal progression of enhancement.
